LOVECHURCH - The Podcast
The Pentecast: Day 5 - Prue Bedwell
It’s day 5 of our daily Pentecast on LOVECHURCH — The Podcast. Today’s guest is Prue Bedwell, who joins host Tim Matthews (and their dogs!) for a warm and insightful conversation about the life of Abraham.
They cover Genesis 12–22, one of the most pivotal sections in the Bible. From God’s call to Abraham to be a blessing to all nations, to the long wait for the promised child, and the incredible test of faith involving Isaac — it’s all here. Tim reminds us that this call to be blessed and to bless others is still ours today. Prue brings a tender reflection on the moment Hagar, cast out and alone, encounters God and declares, “I have now seen the one who sees me.” It’s a powerful reminder that God doesn't watch us to judge, but to love and care for us — personally and deeply.
Their prayers are full of trust in God's provision and presence, echoing Abraham's declaration in Genesis 22: “The Lord will provide.” Whether you're feeling seen or forgotten, today’s episode reminds us that God meets us right where we are — not because we’ve earned it, but because He loves us. See you tomorrow for Day 6.

3. Vision for 2026 | Tim Matthews
32:30||Season 5, Ep. 3On the Podcast this week we listen back to last Sunday 18th January with Tim Matthews, as he continues to explore the vision for 2026. He reminded us not to miss opportunities to introduce someone to Jesus, and to be courageous and bold, not timid, in our faith. As 1 Peter 3:15 says, “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.” Let’s take that to heart as we live out our faith in everyday life.

57. Unshakeable Living
33:44||Season 4, Ep. 57This week on LOVECHURCH - The Podcast, we are taking ourselves back to the UNSHAKEABLE series. Festus begins by recapping our journey so far through the book of Hebrews, and how all the previous sermons add to a life of unshakeable living. One that is firm, rooted, and not shaken by storms. He further elaborates by suggesting the main anchor for this kind of life is love, something that could be seen as foolish but is ultimately sacrificial.
