LOVECHURCH - The Podcast
The Pentecast: Day 37 - Festus Adedoyin
Welcome to Day 37 of the Pentecast on LOVECHURCH — The Podcast. Today, Tim is joined by Festus Adedoyin as they explore the radical transformation and powerful ministry of the apostle Paul, whose journey is captured in Acts chapters 8, 9, and 16.
The episode begins by tracing Paul’s origin story — once a zealous persecutor of Christians named Saul, he stood approvingly over the stoning of Stephen. But everything changes in Acts 9, when Jesus meets him on the road to Damascus and turns his life around. Festus and Tim reflect on how no one is beyond the reach of God's transforming grace.
Later, in Acts 16, Paul and Silas find themselves imprisoned in Philippi. Rather than despairing, they worship and pray through the night — and God literally shakes the prison open. Their powerful faith doesn't just set them free; it leads to the salvation of their jailer and his household.
Festus reminds us that worship and prayer are not just comforting habits — they are powerful, spiritual weapons. They change the atmosphere and unlock doors. Paul’s story is a testimony that nothing is impossible for God and that no one is too far gone to be changed.
Join Tim and Festus in praying for that same power and joy, even in life’s prisons. Let your worship be your weapon. We're nearly there — see you tomorrow for Day 38.

3. Vision for 2026 | Tim Matthews
32:30||Season 5, Ep. 3On the Podcast this week we listen back to last Sunday 18th January with Tim Matthews, as he continues to explore the vision for 2026. He reminded us not to miss opportunities to introduce someone to Jesus, and to be courageous and bold, not timid, in our faith. As 1 Peter 3:15 says, “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.” Let’s take that to heart as we live out our faith in everyday life.

57. Unshakeable Living
33:44||Season 4, Ep. 57This week on LOVECHURCH - The Podcast, we are taking ourselves back to the UNSHAKEABLE series. Festus begins by recapping our journey so far through the book of Hebrews, and how all the previous sermons add to a life of unshakeable living. One that is firm, rooted, and not shaken by storms. He further elaborates by suggesting the main anchor for this kind of life is love, something that could be seen as foolish but is ultimately sacrificial.
