    52:19||Season 2, Ep. 42
    (Originally published 11/14/2024) Your favorite sister duo chat with their guest Valerie Bowden, who backpacked the entire continent of Africa from Cape Town, South Africa, to Cairo, Egypt and then lived in Ethiopia for eight years. She shares shocking stories about letting a hyena eat a piece of meat right out of her mouth, gorilla trekking in Uganda, swimming with sharks in South Africa, seeing the pyramids in Sudan, and sleeping in a kind woman’s bed when the hotels in town were full. She talks about how the United States should view Africa as a lively, beautiful continent instead of seeing it as somewhere to “help”. Now living in the United States, Valerie founded CRDLE to help companies hire out of Africa.
