  • 24. Navigating Your Nutrition & Training on Holidays

    33:46||Season 1, Ep. 24
    Welcome back to Long Story Short with Vicky Cornick! Today's episode is the Finale for season 1 and given that it is the first week of July, and summer is in full swing, Vicky will be sharing her tips for navigating your nutrition and training whilst on holidays. Finding that balance between restricting yourself and overindulging on holidays is something a lot of people struggle with. You may have had a very regimented routine before going away with specific foods and dedicated exercise times. But when we go on holidays, our routines change. Maybe you're drinking more alcohol, eating higher calorie foods out at restaurants, maybe you don't have access to a gym and you aren't training. It is important to find that balance between taking a break, and not losing your routine completely and then feeling bad about it once the holiday is over. Before going away, try to decide the type of holiday you will have (in terms of nutrition & training), own it, and have no guilt or negative feelings around that decision. This is just one of the many helpful tips Vicky share with us in today's episode. If you enjoyed it, please like, subscribe, leave a review or share it with a friend.
