More than €880,000 owed to Meath County Council in Derelict Sites Levy, as Sinn Féin calls for end to amnesty

Sinn Féin TD for Meath East, Darren O'Rourke, has slammed the government’s total failure to tackle dereliction as thousands of homes and buildings across the state are left to rot and over €26 million in Derelict Sites Levies goes uncollected. In Meath, there are 38 derelict sites and the most recent figures show that €881,895 is owed to Meath County Council.
