    Journalist John Kierans spoke about his experience of physical abuse, while attending St Joseph's CBS secondary school in Drogheda, which was mostly perpetrated by lay teachers. Dundalk fan and Chairperson of the 1903 Committee Orla Crilly, spoke of her hope that the club could be saved from folding but that any future ownership model must involve fans of the club. Matchmaker Mairead Loughman, is all set to bring together love seeking people at this year's Ploughing Championships.     Our Best Banger in the Northeast gong went to Lorenzen's Butchers in Navan after a close run contest between five excellent breakfast sausage makers. Cooked in the kitchen of the Marcy Hotel by Tara Walker, sampled and judged by Tara, Peter Whelan and Sabrina Sherlock. And guess who popped in for a pint, a sausage and a chat? None other than the simply wonderful James Nesbitt!
