Sopranos actor Joseph Gannascoli
He’s best known for playing the role of Vito Spatafore on the worldwide hit HBO series the Sopranos a role that was ground breaking in it’s portrayal of a gay character but Joseph Gannascoli is a man of many talents, as well as being a great actor he’ s a dab hand at cooking a professional chef who ran various restaurants in the states but he was drawn to acting and although not keen to work in TV initially he was eventually persuaded to audition for the Sopranos and the rest is history. He recently made local and national news here when he surprised fans by pledging his allegiance to Dundalk F.C. He promised he would visit Dundalk when he arrived in Ireland and he has made good on his promise, co hosted by Irishify run by Dundalk man Paddy Casey An evening with Joseph R Ganascoli is happening April 23rd, Sinead caught up with Joseph ahead of his appearance in Dundalk.
