Could Limerick fuel protests be on the cards again?

Now I’m sure you all remember back in April when a series of nationwide protests took place in response to the rising cost of fuel. These protests resulted in a €505 million support package and a 10c cut in excise duty on both petrol and diesel until the end of July.
At the weekend, a public meeting was held to discuss the current situation, and speakers warned that if the government did not take measures to reduce prices, protesters would be “hitting the road” with further action.
Limerick Independent Ireland TD Richard O’Donoghue, who attended the meeting, joins Limerick Today.

Rooney Auctioneers on the latest house price report for Limerick
07:20|House price inflation appears to be easing, with the latest Daft.ie report showing asking prices nationally rose by 3% in the year to September, roughly half the rate of increase seen a year earlier.There are also more second-hand homes coming onto the market, although supply remains well below pre-pandemic levels.
