Ukrainian Fashion Mini Series: Kateryna Vozianova of INDPOSHIV
Season 2, Ep. 3
•
INDPOSHIV is a 13 year old company, it was founded in February 2009 by Kateryna Vozianova, our guest for today’s interview. Though she thinks of herself as an interpreter more than a designer, she founded the first brand of classic men's bespoke clothing in Ukraine, and the brand works very hard to keep their bespoke menswear up to the standards of Savile Row.
Kateryna’s father is Fedor Vozianov, who has been recognized as one of the godfathers of Ukrainian fashion- and for a long time she resisted the lure of apparel design and tailoring. After starting her career in marketing, she was eventually enticed to follow her dreams with one simple question she posed to herself: What is the most perfect thing I can make? And then she found out.
