In week three of our series The Veil, Pastor Joshua shares a powerful message titled “Cleaning House.” Looking at the Day of Atonement in Leviticus 16, we see a picture of how God doesn’t just forgive sin, He removes it and makes a way for true cleansing.From the priest, to the place, to the people, every part of the process pointed to a deeper truth fulfilled in Jesus, our High Priest. We don’t come to God because we’ve already cleaned ourselves up, we come because He is the one who makes us clean. We kicked off our brand new series “The Veil” this Sunday, a journey from separation to presence.In this message, Pastor Joshua takes us back to the very beginning in Genesis 3 to uncover the first separation between humanity and the presence of God. What started as presence enjoyed in the Garden quickly became presence avoided, feared, replaced, and lost. But the story doesn’t end there. From the moment sin created distance, God began pursuing. What was lost in the Garden is restored through Jesus.
