How To Launch, Scale & Exit A Successful Start-Up w/ Marley Spoon Co-Founder & Rockstar Games Head of Marketing, Dave Malcolm

In this episode I sat down with serial entrepreneur, Dave Malcolm. A true performance marketer at heart, you wont find many with a more impressive CV than Dave.

Dave spent 7 years as the Head of Marketing at Rockstar Games where he worked on titles like Grand Theft Auto & Red Dead Redemption and had some of the most successful game launches of all time. After spending the better part of a decade leading the Marketing Function at Rockstar, Dave knew he wanted to go out on his own.

After a short period of working as a consultant and running his own Marketing Agency, Dave Co-Founded Marley Spoon, a direct competitor to Hello Fresh, a company that had dominated the industry for many years. The venture was a massive success to say the least. Within a few short years Dave grew the company from zero to over 350 staff and a successful IPO.

Since his successful exit from Marley Spoon, Dave is now focused on his latest venture Mist, which is a comprehensive mobile app designed to empower international students as you “Move, Settle & Live” in a new country. He also has his own successful, e-commerce start-up, Wavetree.
