SportZone Chats With Rob Stainton, Son Of 1959 Imps Player Bryan
Tony Smith and Alan Long chat with Rob Stainton, whose father Bryan Stainton from Ingham signed for Lincoln City in 1959 when the Imps were last in English football's second tier where they will be playing this coming season after an absence of 65 years.
Before turning professional in 1961, Bryan continued to work at Wests Garage on Lincoln's High Street and u|timately enjoyed a 27 year football career.
