Once COVID-19 squashed the lacrosse season, I lost track of how I would release the clips. So, alas, this week we bring it back to Championship Weekend 2019 to celebrate the NCAA Lacrosse Championships and the many reasons they're great.While on site last year, we recorded a series of short interviews with a few different people who were at Lincoln Financial Field to take in the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships. Hear from former players, fans, and media over what draws them to lacrosse's biggest event each year.Let's go back to Philly!

    We’re back! After a little bit of a break, the Know the Game podcast is back! Ryan Conwell brings back one of the LaxCon interviews with Clay and Kroy Arnold as they talk about their introduction to the game of lacrosse and their newest projects with Indigenous Values, including the Wooden Stick Festival and the Randy Hall Memorial Tournament. The Wooden Stick Festival will be held Saturday, September 28-29, 2019.They have also recently launched their own company, Spirit Twins Lacrosse, where they will be using it to teach the game wherever they can.

Mitch was a Cornell University graduate who went on to play professional lacrosse for more than a decade in both Major League Lacrosse and the National Lacrosse League. He also went on to compete for Team USA as a member of the 2011 Indoor team and 2014 outdoor team.     This week's guest for the Know the Game podcast is Colton Watkinson of the New England Black Wolves.Colton describes how he went from being released from his Junior B team to the Hill Academy, to a remarkable career at Limestone that has led to being a first-round NLL draft pick. While at Limestone, he was a two-time All-American, a Midfielder of the Year, three-time National Champion and one-time runner-up. He immediately became an impact player for the Black Wolves since joining the team and now will join the Florida Launch this upcoming summer in the MLL.

He goes into some detail to better understand where Cascade Maverik fits into the growth equation of how and where lacrosse is going to be next. He also describes working with their partners to develop newer and better products.

Tyler is the men's lacrosse head coach at UMass-Boston, a Division III school in the Little East Conference, located on the shore of Boston. He is also the co-founder of PrimeTime Lacrosse, which has an events business that operates several lacrosse camps, clinics and tournaments through the year as well as several club teams, known as the Penguins. Payball is an app developed to help organizations like lacrosse teams efficiently manage their payment to external groups like coaches, referees, and other individuals on an as needed basis. While this app can work for many groups or sports, Pete comes from the lacrosse world. He is a Long Island native who went on to be a captain for Penn State Lacrosse.The reason he chose to develop Payball was his involvement with the youth lacrosse group in his town. As he started exploring some of the problems they were having with neighboring towns and his friends nationally, he noticed how widespread issues of sending and receiving money is in the lacrosse world.
