The 2025 F1 Austrian Grand Prix is shaping up to be one of the most pivotal races of the season...as long as Max Verstappen can convert yet another win here!

With the spotlight on Max Verstappen seeking a record FIFTH win around the most recent configuration of this track, the pressure is on for Mercedes, McLaren and Ferrari to mount a challenge...what a race to go see live! The grid is also buzzing with rumours about Cadillac’s driver choices, with Valtteri Bottas making a LITERAL bid for a seat as per the memes! Young talents like Arvid Lindblad, Dino Beganovic and Alex Dunne are making headlines, with big teams testing the latter two in FP1 this weekend.
Red Bull’s own lineup faces scrutiny as Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson battle to meet expectations, while Isack Hadjar waits in the wings. With hot weather and unpredictable conditions expected throughout the weekend, tyre strategy and potential safety cars could shake up the usual order. My predictions are in for a Verstappen bolt off the line but don’t count out George Russell and both McLaren cars of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris to be down and out.

Instead, a very detailed and shiny design mixing old and new as well as highlighting the partnership with Ford in a way that had never been emulated with Honda (except for the white bulls). The RB22, piloted by Max Verstappen and Isack Hadjar, looked wonderful and the team looked extremely optimistic for the Formula 1 season ahead.As that was going the Racing Bulls VCARB03 launched...to a less favourable read. It was OK, but not as striking as last year.
