Hay muchos riesgos asociados a la no regulación de la Inteligencia Artificial. A finales de 2023, 31 países habían aprobado ya algún tipo de legislación sobre IA y 13 estaban debatiendo nuevas leyes. Con todas las miradas puestas en EE.UU.,  las elecciones de 2024 pueden influir en la legislación sobre IA generativa.
