THE HEATWAVE HAS ARRIVED and it's not from the sun BUT FROM EXO PLANET (sorry). EXO are finally back with their new album Don’t Fight the Feeling and they’re giving us the summer EXOllence we deserve to EXOficially kick off summer! We were so EXOcited about them being back (promise that’s it for the puns) that we dedicated this week's episode to it… honestly it’s just us being overly excited about the comeback and needing an outlet to talk about it so sit back, get comfy, and DON’T FIGHT THE FEELING!!!!!

It's time for another recap to what seemed to be a busy month but turned out to be the absolute complete opposite! KPOP really said "we gon' rest in May", but we still did try to bring you all the main news stories and comebacks from the Month! And of course, we end it with our usual monthly recommendations however we completely struggled with this BECAUSE THE COMEBACKS IN MAY WERE EXQUISITE and ended up mentioning a lot more than we intended to... which is nothing unusual for us *sigh* ENJOY!!  **TW FOOD: We start the episode with a little Mukbang and food review of the new McDonald's BTS Meal and give you our real and honest opinion, so if you want to get straight into the recap skip to 5:40!

We decided to take a quick tour to learn all about the band of ever growing subunits, members, and chaos also known as NCT, after SM Entertainment announced that they will be partnering up with MGM to create the next all American NCT subunit - NCT Hollywood. In this episode we cover the basic history of NCT's concept and subunits while accidentally exposing our very obvious NCTzen status. Get ready, it's a messy one... Also not @ Laila forgetting her own son Renjun while talking about NCT Dream...

We are exploring the different ways KPOP has dealt with the pandemic; from cancelled tours and shows to the new normal KPOP has created for its fans across the world. Reminiscing on how KPOP helped us personally during lockdown exactly a year ago; we discuss lost jobs, health scares, emotional support KPOP Idols, music, and overall moments that kept us moving forward while having our lives (and everyone else's) be put on hold... and we may have gotten a little bit emosh... JUST A LITTLE BIT.

It's time for another quick recap! What we thought was a relatively quiet month turned out to be a quite eventful one.
