Koltergeist: True Crime Stories
The Murder of Kalinka Bamberski
This episode covers the horrific death of a 14-year-old girl and it is unlike any story we’ve covered before. It is about more than a beautiful life lost, more than the depraved acts of a sick mind- this a story about the contrast of two very different men. The first, exploited his position of trust to carry out horrific crimes against multiple young girls and women. And he got away with his crimes for a long time-until he picked the wrong victim and ignited a fire in another man who’s dogged pursuit of justice lasted over 2 decades.
The fight was clever, unconventional, and not 100% legal. But when you hear this story, you will have to agree that when ordinary, decent people join forces with honor and conviction, darkness does not get the final word.
