In this 96th edition of the MK3D show, Mark Kermode talks to Himesh Patel about his new satirical comedy, The Franchise. Himesh talks about his cast mates and reveals that perhaps the storylines aren’t as fictional as they appear…
Mark also talks to James Norton about his new film, Joy. James discusses the cast and crew’s personal connections to IVF in the film. Mark also draws out more about James's decision to invite his therapist to watch him play an evil character in a recent play. And finally, James tells us why an Al Pacino performance encouraged him to become an actor.
The Franchise is available on NOW and Sky, with new episodes releasing each week, and Joy is out now, only on Netflix.
