Ari teaches norm about a group that is different from the others they've discussed in a couple of ways--it's made up of (North) Americans, and hasn't even officially debuted yet--VCHA. Also reactions to FIFTY FIFTY songs (but mostly just that one), and references to old person things including Alvin and the Chipmunks and the Kingston Trio.

This week Ari teaches norm about the girl group aespa and their AI concept. Asides include Tetris, a K-Pop crossover with one of norm's favorite bands, Queen, and Ari's take on how choreography is less learned and more absorbed.

In this episode we talk about punctuation marks, vampires, and children's TV shows, so we must be discussing the boy group (not band) ENHYPEN. Also reactions to (G)I-DLE songs, so more discussion of sexual politics, but also Banksy, and whether or not it would be cool to have a blood room (that is, a room in your house that bleeds).

This week we talk about the girl group (G)I-DLE, however that's pronounced. We get in to their particularly forward style of Girl Crush, and a long discussion grows out of it about the intersection of K-Pop and queer identities. Also, as usual, reactions to songs from last week's subject Red Velvet. Digressions include George Gershwin, Biggie &amp; Tupac, and how pineapple fights back.

Ari is a big K-Pop fan. Norm is Ari's middle-aged dad who loves music, but knows nothing about K-Pop. Listen and learn what the kids are listening to these days as Ari teaches all about K-Pop to Norm.
