  • 14. COOL DAYS - November 1, 2025

    21:38||Ep. 14
    It's 53°F and Rachel will not be bleeped! Thank you and apologies to our guest, Katy McAnallen (lifeofbugs.blog)P.S. I promise the sketch spooktacular is coming, but rather than rushing the editing I've scheduled it as the December episode. Plus now there'll be one or two more sketches added to it since I'll have time to write them!

    Mothra Nightshade takes over Some Things Contemplated and turns out she's not great at answering questions or planning a show. Plus, a commercial for a new business!

    Today's the day! The third annual documentary podcast by Belle Cricket has finally arrived, this time with some help from a few damselflies zipping around the riverbank with microphones (aka a giant montageoscene that was recorded in a very reverb-y room)Plugs:Will Snavely - Let's Laugh At Pittsburgh comedy showsAndy Fennick - in-home dog training & walking, contact ProDogTrainerAndy@gmail.com for detailsSean Patrick Baker - SPBTheHuman on social mediaChristian Muise - Sequential MagazineSuspicious Number - listen to Donna Summer's first single "Wasserman"Anna McAnallen - jumpthetrackshow.com
  • Bugstock '25 Teaser

    09:38|
    It's taking a lot longer than anticipated to edit all the segments for Bugstock '25, which is a great problem to have. In addition to the music and character interviews with my online friends, for the first time in Jump the Track history there are IRL improv friends on the show! The montageoscene (montage/monoscene) was over an hour long, which gives you an idea how massively full the podcast episode will be once it's postedLong story short, here's a preview of Bugstock '25 to tide you over until the full episode is ready. All three of us have shows coming up this weekend, so if you're in the Pittsburgh area head to Arcade Comedy or Glitterbox for some awesome improv comedy!Plug Bag:Will Snavely - Let's Laugh At Pittsburgh comedy showsAndy Fennick - Friday August 1 at 7 pm Let's Laugh At: The Glitterbox Theater. Katy is back to talk about Keeping Up Appearances, but also Last of the Summer Wine because we both are incapable of sticking to one topic. We waxed poetic for so long that we ended up only talking about 2 episodes instead of 3, so tune in for fun facts and tangents galore! And as always, so much love for Dame Patricia Routledge who is the absolute best!Click here for Anna's giant PDF of fun facts and screenshots of all the guest starsPLUG BAGKaty McAnallen: Gardening (and more coming soon!) blog at lifeofbugs.blogAnna McAnallen: Jump the Track is now on Patreon!
