The journey to being an independent creative is a long and tiring one. If, somehow, you're able to chase your dreams all the way to a place where you can care for yourself and your family as a result, you've basically won the lottery. Some of us get that lucky, but most of us don't. My advice is, while on that journey, don't lose yourself along the way.
