In the early 2000s, YSpeak became of the most influential youth shows that shaped the thinking of the youth then. Ryan Agoncillo and Bianca Gonzalez-Intal were the iconic hosts of the show. Interestingly, during this lockdown some of the youth then – who are now young adults – communicated with Bianca through social media expressing their gratitude for YSpeak shaping their thinking and core values. In this final episode of the two-episode conversation with Bianca and Ryan, we get an insight into how they also evolved over the last decade and a half. For Mother’s Day, Fr. Tito Caluag talks to superstar and inspiring mom, Judy Ann Santos Agoncillo, who shares with us her moving stories of motherhood. In today’s episode, Judy Ann talks about the unconditional love and sacrifice of her mother for her—how she worked abroad for 20 years to provide for the family, how she would miss the important milestones in their life, how she would buy gifts for the kids even when they were already earning on their own—and how this shaped her to become the woman and mom that she is now. “I really appreciate every bit of sacrifice and love that she gave us. It made us stronger. Mas na-appreciate ko ’yung buhay ko lalo.”Judy Ann also brought this love and sacrifice that she learned from her mother to her everyday life as an artista, as a mother, and as a philanthropist. So she would bring food for everyone she worked with on the set, how she would care for her kids, and how she will work with Caritas Philippines to help teach moms how to cook affordable but nutritious food for their families.“Masarap mag-alaga sa mga tao,” she says.

Kim Chiu’s Catholic journey started with her mom. They would pray the rosary every night and until now, she does not end her day without praying.
