Letting Go & Making Space: Embracing Autumn

Ep. 25
•

As autumn arrives, it can be easy to focus on the darker evenings, colder days and the feeling that summer is coming to an end. But what if we looked at autumn differently?

Just as the trees let go of their leaves, we can ask ourselves: What are we ready to release? This might be an old belief, a habit, something that no longer serves us, or simply something we've been holding onto that is taking up space.

And when we let go, we create space for something new.

I'd like you to think beyond the darker nights and consider what you actually love about autumn and what you can look forward to during this beautiful season. From getting into your cosy PJs after work to enjoying walks in the rain, autumn can offer us a wonderful opportunity to pause, reset and reconnect with ourselves.

Journal Prompts :-

What used to serve me but no longer does?

What am I ready to release?

What am I holding on to because I'm afraid of letting it go?

AND

What could I bring into my life once I've made space for it?

Have a beautiful week and if you would like to work with me or just get in touch, you can contact me

  • 24. Manifestation: Beyond the Vision Board

    13:53||Ep. 24
    In this episode of Positive Possibilities, I share my personal journey back to manifestation and the Law of Attraction after a period of focusing on being a mum, working and putting much of myself to one side.Coming back to manifestation was also part of coming back to me — rediscovering the things I used to enjoy and making space for myself again.I talk about my understanding of manifestation and why I believe there is much more to it than simply dreaming it, visualising it and waiting for it to arrive.In this episode, I explore how limiting beliefs, fears and the stories we carry about ourselves can sometimes become barriers to the things we want to create in our lives.I also talk about energy, emotions and raising your vibration, and why having emotions such as fear, anger, jealousy or frustration doesn't mean you've failed at manifestation or that you're attracting something negative.We are human. We will experience difficult emotions.The important thing is learning to recognise them, accept them, become curious about why they're there, work through them and move forward rather than judging ourselves for having them.This isn't a complete guide to manifestation — just my personal take on one part of a subject I've explored for many years and continue to learn about.If you're interested in manifestation, the Law of Attraction, mindset, limiting beliefs, spirituality, energy, personal growth and creating positive change, I hope this episode gives you something to think about.What might be possible if you started looking not only at what you want to manifest, but also at the beliefs and fears that might be standing in your way?#Manifestation #LawOfAttraction #LimitingBeliefs #Mindset #Spirituality #PersonalGrowth #PositiveThinking #Energy #SelfBeliefIf you would like to contact me or work with me go can go towww.joanlaceymindsetcoach.comor on instagram joanlaceymindsetcoach
  • 23. Simple Tools to Help with Overwhelm

    17:36||Season 1, Ep. 23
    In this episode, I share a couple of simple, practical tools that, when used consistently, can help calm your nervous system and reduce feelings of overwhelm.We’ll look at how to use a To-Do List more effectively, and how creating a simple weekly timetable can help you see, honestly, where your time is going.These tools can help you find space in your week for the things that matter to you, whether that’s making time for yourself, working towards your goals, or simply staying on top of everyday tasks.Most importantly, they can help you recognise just how much you actually do achieve each week — something we often forget to acknowledge when we’re feeling overwhelmed.Sometimes, we don’t need to do more. We just need to see things differently and make better use of the time we already have.You can contact me atwww.joanlaceymindsetcoach.comor on instagramjoanlaceymindsetcoach
  • 22. The Wheel of Life: A Reset after Summer

    26:30||Ep. 22
    Have you ever come home from a wonderful holiday feeling refreshed, rested and full of good intentions… only to realise that everything waiting for you is exactly as you left it?The emails are still there. The routines are still there. The responsibilities are still there. And, sometimes, the parts of life that weren't quite working before your holiday are still not working now.But perhaps coming home after a break can be more than simply returning to your normal routine. It can be an opportunity to pause, reflect and ask yourself: “Is my life actually where I want it to be?”In this episode of Positive Possibilities, I’m talking about the Wheel of Life — a simple coaching tool that can help you look at the different areas of your life and see where things feel balanced, where you're thriving and where you might want to make a change. Although I use the tool as a template in my own coaching practice, I go much deeper in my one to one sessions, however, it is still a great tool to help us reflect on our lives in this episode.We'll explore areas such as relationships, health, career, finances, personal growth, social life, and more.The Wheel of Life isn't about deciding that everything needs to change. Quite the opposite.It's about celebrating what you're already doing well, recognising the areas that are bringing you happiness and then gently identifying the parts of your life that you'd like to improve or elevate.And you don't have to change everything at once.Sometimes the biggest changes begin with one small step.So, as summer comes to an end and we return to our everyday routines, why not take a moment to check in with yourself?What is working well in your life?What would you like more of?And what's one small step you could take towards creating the life you want?You don't need to reinvent yourself. You simply need to start where you are.Small steps. Positive possibilities. One change at a time.If you're feeling a little lost, stuck or ready for a change, the Wheel of Life could be the perfect place to begin.You can contact me atwww.joanlaceymindsetcoach.comor on instagram joanlaceymindsetcoach
  • 21. Coming Home: Where Sadness and Happiness Meet

    14:52||Season 1, Ep. 21
    In this episode of Positive Possibilities, I’m talking about my recent trip home to the Isle of Lewis.Coming home after losing my dad was always going to be difficult as it was after mam passed away. Everywhere I went, there were memories. Places, rooms, people and little things that brought tears and reminded me of what has changed.But amongst the sadness, there was also happiness, laughter, friends and family, not to mention the beauty and especially the feeling of being back somewhere that will always be home.It reminded me that grief isn't simply sadness. We can miss people deeply and still laugh. We can shed tears and experience joy. We can feel heartbroken and grateful, all within the same day.Perhaps that's part of learning to live with loss — making space for all of our emotions, rather than feeling we have to choose between sadness and happiness.In this episode, I’m sharing some of my own experience of coming home, the memories it brought up, and the reminder that even in difficult seasons, there can still be moments of beauty, connection and happiness.Because sometimes, the most positive possibility is simply allowing ourselves to feel it all.You can contact me at www.joanlaceymindsetcoach.com or on instagram @joanlaceymindsetcoach

  • 19. When Progress Feels Slow: Trusting the Changes You Can't Yet See

    14:44||Ep. 19
    Have you ever felt like you're doing all the right things, but the results just aren't happening quickly enough?In this episode of Positive Possibilities, I explore what it feels like when progress seems slow and why it's so easy to become discouraged when we focus only on the outcome. Whether you're working towards a health goal, building confidence, growing a business, or creating positive habits, this episode is a reminder that meaningful change often happens long before we can see it.I share my own experience of exercising more regularly and how, although the physical changes haven't been as noticeable as I'd hoped, I've realised I'm feeling stronger, healthier and more energised. Sometimes the biggest signs of progress aren't visible—they're found in the way we think, feel and show up for ourselves each day.I also reflect on the power of celebrating small wins, trusting the process, and recognising the quiet transformations happening beneath the surface. Plus, with the New Moon in Cancer inviting us to reconnect with ourselves and set gentle intentions, I share a few reflective journaling prompts to help you embrace where you are right now while continuing to move forward.If you've been feeling impatient, stuck or questioning whether your efforts are making a difference, this episode is your reminder that every small step counts—and that you're probably making more progress than you realise.If you would like to contact me to find out about my coaching availability you can go to my website www.joanlaceymindsetcoach.co.ukor follow me on instagram #joanlaceymindsetcoachI'd love to hear from you.take careJoan x
  • 18. Coming Back to Yourself

    18:22||Ep. 18
    Have you ever felt stuck, blank, or as though all your thoughts and ideas are trapped in a room in your mind—and you just can't find the key to unlock them?In this honest and heartfelt episode, I reflect on the last couple of weeks and share why I've been feeling disconnected from my creativity and sense of direction. I open up about what has been happening in my life, the impact of grief, and how much I still miss being able to share life's special moments with my mam and dad. I also talk about one of my greatest inspirations and the lessons they're teaching me right now.But this episode isn't just about feeling stuck—it's about finding your way forward. Together, we explore the importance of self-reflection, recognising when it's time to pivot, realign with what truly matters, or simply adjust our goals into smaller, more achievable steps. Sometimes progress isn't about giant leaps; it's about moving forward just 2% at a time.If you're feeling overwhelmed, lacking motivation, navigating grief, searching for clarity, or trying to reconnect with yourself, this episode is a reminder that you don't have to have it all figured out.
