The Music Lab with James & Alex

He wears many backwards hats and goes by many names: Jimmy The Gent, Jimmy Slay, Rusty Sierra. The Music Lab simply knows him as their mate Jimmy. In this stacked episode, James and Alex sit down with Boston's number one DJ Jimmy May to talk about his career, the various projects he's been a part of over the years such as Cool Beans and 50 Sniffs, his experiences as a touring DJ, his decision to become a counsellor and more.Along the way we play selected highlights from Jimmy's back catalogue, Jimmy & James share music they've been listening to from the likes of The Distillers, Desmond Dekker, XOA & 2manydjs, Papa Thurman Recommends a track that can only be described as epic, and, miraculously, Alex sits back and lets other people talk.
