Jams is back for the first epsiode of 2022! This week, J-Man sits down with his good mate Sardo to chat about The Damned! One of the most underated punk rock bands of all time! J-Man and Sardo also chat about their mutual love of music and Sardo's band "The You Beauts"!

On this episode of Jams, J-Man sits down with his Dad to talk about the 1976 release, Boston! We discuss what this album means to both of us and dad’s memory of growing up in Sydney, seeing bands like Cold Chisel, Australian crawl and Midnight Oil at the local pub. We also talk about why this release from Boston being viewed as their best work!

Evan Wallace a.k.a E-Dubble created the series ‘freestyle Friday’s’, releasing a new song every Friday from 5th of February 2010, until the 3rd of February, 2011. This series grew his fanbase quite substantially due to his consistency, lyrical ability and his still to sample any song he liked, From PJ Harvey to Boston, Freestyle Fridays gives an insight into Evan as a person and artist due to his willingness to always be transparent through his music. This leads to Freestyle Friday’s being a one of a kind experience. After the release of two more albums plus a bundle of singles, Evan would pass away in 2017. So this episode is dedicated to E-Dubble and all of the music he gave us. Thank you.

We discuss our mutual love for the chilis, how Brandon’s love of the band influenced his own song writing process and what separates this album from the rest of their discography!
