It Never Gets Old

Interview: Meg He, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, ADAY

Meredith sits down with Meg He, one half of sustainable fashion brand ADay. They talk about Meg’s early days flipping secondhand on Ebay, the genesis of ADay, and her and the brand’s ethos of wearable pieces that work for every woman.

ADAY is a direct-to-consumer brand with the mission to raise the standard of clothing with a wardrobe that does more with less: elevated essentials made from functional fabrics. Travel and work are #1 use cases. ADAY was named one of the Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company in 2018, and has been featured by Fast Company, Vogue, Forbes, Refinery29, Conde Nast Traveler, amongst others. Co-founders Nina and Meg were also named Forbes 30 Under 30, and ADAY is a team of largely women (although we just hired our first two men!) based in New York and London.

Is this the best time to buy a luxury handbag? Or the worst? She also goes into what you have at home to sell that is reselling for a bunch of cash. Plus Meredith’s single-serving cookie cake recipe: melt 1 tbsp butter, combine with one egg yolk, a pinch of salt and a pinch of baking powder, plus 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp white sugar, and 1/4 cup of flour in a mug, ramekin, or teacup.
