It Stakes Two

Welcome back everyone! This week we are covering. season 6, episode 2 - Bargaining, Part 2. Buffy has finally managed to dig her way out of her coffin and is wandering around in a daze through the street of Sunnydale, that has been completely destroyed by the demon biker gang. She bumps into Xander, Willow, Tara, and Anya, who are shocked that their spell actually worked, but Buffy is not ready for a family reunion, she wants to head back to the death tower built by crazy people. Just when it looks like she might jump again, Dawn shows up to save the day.

We're baaaack! With a brand new season! In season six, episode one - Bargaining, Part 1, the gang has to deal with the aftermath of Buffy's death. As they try to trick the world into believing that the Slayer is still alive, Giles is like, "Well seems like you got this under control, I'm gonna go..." and heads back to merry old England. Meanwhile, Willow decides the only logical option is to resurrect Buffy with some seriously crazy magic. Will Buffy live?

Well folks another interlude episode, another what did we just watch. In Repo! The Genetic Opera, we head to the future in a world where GeneCo will replace your organs and then repossess them when you can't make your payments. The owner of GeneCo, Rotti, is dying and he needs to find someone to take over the business but his own kids each have some issues. Luckily, Shilo, his dead ex lover's daughter is a great option to inherit. But Shilo's dad has a lot of secrets that Rotti is determined to reveal in his dying moments. 

Well listeners, we've made it to the season finale that feels more like a series finale. In season 5, episode 22 - The Gift, the time is finally right for Glory to perform her ritual and get back home to her cozy hell dimension. Buffy and the gang gather some tools to help with the fight and set out to stop her once and for all. Just when it seems like the apocalypse has been averted yet again, the portal to hell opens. Will Buffy manage to close it without killing Dawn?

Hey listeners! We're getting so close to the end this week with season 5, episode 21 - The Weight of the World. Buffy is down for the count after losing Dawn to Glory and the gang is kind of at a loss without their fearless leader. Finally, Willow steps up and takes charge and takes a trip into Buffy's mind to try to snap her out of her catatonic state in time to save Dawn. Also, the gang starts to suspect that there may be a connection between Glory and Ben!

Join us for our recap of season 5, episode 20 - Spiral. Buffy and the gang make the unexpected decision to go on the run since Glory knows Dawn is the key and they have no idea how to beat her. Unfortunately, the Knights of Byzantium get involved and chase the group down, injuring Giles in the process. Luckily Dr. Ben can make it to help out with Giles...but oh wait...unluckily he brings his tagalong body sharer right to the key. Uh oh!

Hey listeners! We're getting down to the end of it with season 5, episode 19 - Tough Love. In another tragic episode things really start to go south with Glory and the gang. Firstly, Buffy has to deal with Dawn skipping school and Giles tells her it's time to lay down the law. Then Willow and Tara get in their first real couple fight and before they can have great makeup boinking, Glory decides that Tara must be the key. Will Willow be able to save her from Glory's grasp? 

Welcome back everyone! This week we are recapping season 5, episode 18 - Intervention. Buffy heads into the desert with Giles to get back on board with her job as the Slayer. Meanwhile, Spike has gotten his very own robot Buffy to...well you know...When Xander and Anya spot the Buffybot canoodling with Spike and can't tell the difference between a robot and their best friend, the gang decides it's time to stage an intervention. 

Well it's another tough episode this week folks. In season five, episode 17 - Forever, the gang is getting ready for Joyce's funeral. While Buffy is in full organization mode, Dawn is having a harder time working through the loss and decides that the only solution is resurrection. With Spike helping her to perform this complicated bit of magic, what could go wrong? Thank goodness for the surprise visit from Davy B. to give us a silver lining!
