It Stakes Two

Hey everyone! This week we're covering season 7, episode 13 - The Killer in Me. In this episode the group is all out and about on their own missions and we've almost forgotten that an apocalypse is happening! When Willow goes on a date with Potential Slayer Kennedy, things get so steamy that she turns into...Warren...EW! Spike randomly starts having some major issues with his brain chip so Buffy and him are on an Initiative related search for answers. Giles has taken all of the Potentials on a camping trip when the rest of the gang finds out that he might actually be dead. So they head out to find out if Giles can touch things. A bit all over the place, but still worth a watch...or at least a listen to our take on it all! 

Hey listeners! This week we're back with season 7, episode 12 - Potential. Buffy's house is filling up with potential Slayers and while the First is taking a bit of a recovery break, Buffy is stepping up the training for the Potentials. When Willow gets news that there is another Potential right there in Sunnydale, she performs a spell to help locate her. To everyone's surprise the spell locates Dawn! Does slaying really run in the family? Will Buffy finally pay some attention to Dawn? Listen along to find out!

But when Xander and Buffy go to pick up the next potential, they find her dead... and with a face they recognize. Realizing the First has infiltrated their clubhouse, they must do what anyone would in the situation - telepathically plan a giant showdown of Buffy vs. Ubervamp to restore the young girls confidence in the slayers' abilities. But what if Buffy can't defeat it? (Beady eyes is right, we're needed).

In this episode, Giles finally reenters the chat and he's brought some new friends with him, the Potential Slayers who are being hunted down by the First and have come to Sunnydale for protection. But when Buffy runs into the ancient ugly vampire that the First brought around, she seems to be fighting a losing battle. How will she save the world when she can't even save herself?

We're baaaack and buckle up listeners because this episode has everything! In season 7, episode 9 - Never Leave Me, Buffy is working on interrogating Spike about his blackouts when a new house guest/hostage shows up, Andrew!! Anya and Xander take over his interrogation in an amazing good cop/bad cop act, but before Andrew can tell them anything, Spike tries to eat him! When the Borrowers - or Bringers - show up to kidnap Spike, Buffy finally figures out that the new big bad is The First Evil...AAHH!

In this episode Buffy is following Spike around the busiest street of Sunnydale we have ever seen to find out if he's been up to no good. Turns out that he definitely has, but because something evil has been messing with his head, Buffy lets him move in instead of taking him out. Remember we only kill evil monsters who are our friends if we haven't slept with them...
