7 Churches of Asia | Sardis (5 of 7)
Ep. 161
•
In this episode we continue looking at what Jesus said to the 7 churches of Asia in the book of Revelation. We begin chapter 3 by talking about the church in the city of Sardis. Jesus calls this church out for looking really good on the outside, but being spiritually dead. Can our churches be like that today? Can we have a reputation for being a good church, but in reality be a church that needs to repent and seek God’s will for them?

165. When the Bible Gets Cut | Dealing with Difficult Truths
09:06||Ep. 165In this episode we are looking at contrasting reactions to the word of God. We do this by looking at a story about Jehoiakim and then another story about Josiah. What do I do when the Bible tells me hard things? Do I ignore, close it, and act like I never read it? Or do I have the kind of heart that wants to change, and is willing to take extreme measures to make sure the word of the Lord is being followed in my life?
164. How to Receive Jesus | Mark 10

From children, to a rich man, to his disciples, and finally to a blind man, we see Jesus always have something to say. But who do we identify with the most out of these interactions? Are we humble in the way we receive Jesus? Do we have too much to let go and so we don’t follow Jesus? Or are we willing to admit our need for help and ready to let go of the things we are attached to?

Or will we ignore his plea to stay faithful to him?
