Vinny Coyle is starring as Wild Bill Hickok in Calamity Jane.The production is currently embarking on a UK and Ireland tour with direction by Nikolai Foster and co-direction and choreography by Nick Winston.Based on the Doris Day movie, this production of Calamity Jane last toured ten years ago and features classic songs including The Deadwood Stage (Whip-Crack-Away), The Black Hills of Dakota, Just Blew in from the Windy City and the Oscar-winning Secret Love. Laura Baldwin is In The Frame!Laura Baldwin is playing Miss Heartwright in the world premiere of Austenland. Based on Shannon Hale’s 2007 novel, which was adapted into a film in 2013, Austenland is being staged in concert at the Savoy Theatre for two performances on Monday 24th March. The show has book by Jodi Picoult and Timothy Allen McDonald with music and lyrics by Kate Anderson and Elyssa Samsel. The concert production is directed by Jonathan O’Boyle with choreography by Joanna Goodwin.Laura played Dawn in the original West End cast of Waitress (Adelphi Theatre) and Adele in the premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella (Gillian Lynne Theatre). Wendi Peters is starring as Florence Foster Jenkins in the revival of Glorious! at the Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester.Glorious! was nominated for Best New Comedy at the 2006 Olivier Awards and tells the true story of American socialite Florence Foster Jenkins, dubbed ‘the worst singer in the world’, who was known for her flamboyant costumes, enigmatic performances and decidedly off-key voice. The revival is directed by Kirk Jameson. Wendi is an icon of stage and screen. Most recently she played Mother Superior in the UK tour of Sister Act. Just a few of her other theatre credits include Big The Musical, White Christmas, Oh What A Lovely War and many more. Wendi received huge acclaim for creating the role of Diana in the UK premiere of You Are Here at Southwark Playhouse, with her performance featuring in West End Frame's Top 5 Performances of 2021. On screen Wendy is beloved for her iconic performance as Cilla Battersby-Brown in Coronation Street (ITV), a role she played from 2003 to 2007 and again in 2014. Wedi has worked extensively on screen, most recently she played Nina Bulsara for a year in Doctors (BBC). Dan Partridge is starring as Charlie Price in the new touring production of Kinky Boots.Written by Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein, Kinky Boots opened on Broadway in 2013 before transferring to London in 2015. This new production is directed by Curve’s Artistic Director Nikolai Foster with choreography by Leah Hill and set and costume design by Robert Jones.Dan's theatre credits include: Pepper in Mamma Mia! (West End), Link in Hairspray (UK Tour), Rum Tum Tugger in Cats (Europe & South Korea Tours) and most recently he originated the role of Ben in the world premiere of Here And Now: The Steps Musical (The Alexandra, Birmingham). Lauren Jones is starring as Kim in the UK premiere of Scissorhandz.Produced by Bradley Bredeweg, Kelley Parker and Brian Pendleton, along with co-producers Lance Bass and Michelle Visage, Scissorhandz is a reinvention of Tim Burton’s Edward Scissorhands. The pop-musical parody features songs by Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Alanis Morissette and more. In addition to playing Kim, Lauren also understudies the title role. After graduating from ArtsEd, Lauren appeared in the world premiere of The Magician's Elephant for the RSC. Lauren was the alternate Bonnie in both West End runs of Bonnie & Clyde before returning to the show for its UK tour.
