This week we focus on the highlights of the international break, and what we like to call the Diaspora Duty - those from the UK that represent their countries of their family heritage.World Cup and play-off qualification spots were at stake in the last week, and it was mixed fortunes for our contingent around the world . While DR Congo defenders Axel Tuanzebe and Aaron Wan-Bissaka were delighted to make March's intercontinental play-off showdown, the Jamaican national team were far less enthused - so much so that manager Steve McClaren immediately resigned after his side's draw with Curacao, who instead qualified automatically for 2026.Elsewhere, Bangladesh's international break included a historic win over their great rivals and a Hamza Choudhury bicycle kick to rival Scott McTominay; Somalia ended the longest winless run in international football with help from a former Hashtag United player, while new Sweden boss Graham Potter is on a winless run of his own after his first two games in charge.
