This month is all about Apple Photos! We welcome Paul Einarsen of Bluewater Imaging to discuss his time at the Apple Genius Bar, his favorite Apple Photos features, proper use of iCloud and Time Machine to keep your photos safe and secure, and his views on where photo management - for both consumers and professionals - is going.

This month we recorded live from RootsTech, the largest genealogy conference in the world, hosted in Salt Lake City, Utah. We interview a variety of speakers and vendors from the conference floor and also answer a listener question about scanning and preserving scrapbook albums.

We welcome Lida Bunting of Znimka Creations to discuss tips and tricks related to photo book creation, such as how to choose and keep track of photos, tools to use in making books, design ideas and other helpful tidbits. We also tackle a listener question about the costs associated with storing a digital photo library.

This month we are joined by Jill Yesko Diana of Discover Organizing. In this wide-ranging episode we discuss declutterring and downsizing not just your photos but your home and belongings. We have tips for you if you are going through this yourself, and strategies if you are a professional organizer who helps others. As a bonus this month, Jill has shared with us her strangest photo!

In episode 5 we discuss all things digital! We are joined by Cheryl DiFrank of My Memory File and talk about organizing digital photos, backing up digital photos, and some of the tricks and tools of the trade. And ... a very unusual favorite photo from her collection!

In episode 3, we discuss Google’s latest change in their account policy regarding inactive accounts, answer listener questions, and discuss the Save Your Photos Month event running through September. We also interview our latest guest, Marci Brennan, discussing her work with the historic Bettman archive, how to connect stories with the physical photos, and tips on winnowing down your photo collection.
