  • 93. Welcome to the (Thai) Jungle

    52:11||Ep. 93
    It's the penultimate episode for A Shop for Killers Season 2. This is where it all goes bonkers. We've got lies, revenge, traitors, and Rasputin imitators. Seriously, what does it take for some of these people to die? Also, what do you have to do as listeners to get Andrea to stop giving you lessons about Ireland? Do what Q wants to do to Jinman, probably.
  • 92. On Aunties and Unnies

    58:36||Ep. 92
    Yes, it should actually be transliterated as eonni, but if we're watching a Netflix show then we're following Netflix's transliteration. Season two continues on as we expand the cast of characters, include Bale's naked butt. I am not comptaining about that scene. I am Donkey saying that that is a nice boulder. There's fight scenes, there's quips, but most importantly, there's young love. This show has everything! Except names starting with something other than J. It is obviously an issue for me as go two for two of me calling at least one person by the wrong name in an episode. I give up. Good luck following alone!
  • 91. My Giant Korean Teddy Bear

    43:30||Ep. 91
    We are fully back from our wee late summer hiatus and we are kicking it off with season two of A Shop for Killers. Most importantly, my wee Korean Teddy Bear aka the gigantic burly bus driver who towers over everyone else is back in an expanded role. After an episode explaining exactly what Jinman was doing while Ji-an was being shot at all last season, the fight between Babylon and murthehelp continues and Andrea is absolutely ecstatic about it.
  • September Update

    09:15|
    A wee update before I'm actually back-back after my hiatus!
  • Surprise Episode!

    14:59|
    Just jumping with a little update on podcast dates - just realised I didn't sing "See You In September" and am so disappointed in myself - and a relevant news story given we have just finished talking about Mr. Sunshine. Enjoy the short bonus episode!
  • 90. Hold Your Breath and Count To Ten

    01:10:07||Ep. 90
    Do you get it? Do you get the title of episode? Skyfall lyrics, these come immediately after the first line "this is the end." Sure look it, some times things get stuck in my head and you just have to deal with it. But this is the end! We have made it to the last episode of Mr. Sunshine and it's a doozy. I cut out almost 18 minutes of me just quietly crying into the microphone. Four of them came during the Gwan-su scene. You'll know what scene I'm talking about when you get to it. But that's more crying than the actually time I spent talking about the scene!You're welcome, I guess. Also, happy Korean Liberation Day!!Short break next week, see you back on the 25th with two episodes!
  • 89. This Is Not The End

    31:19||Ep. 89
    It is finally the actual penultimate episode! Notes for episode 24 are lengthy, so we're getting two podcasts this week. You'll also get a lot of crying. Sorry, not sorry.
  • 88. Mapping My Way to Fish Jokes

    01:08:28||Ep. 88
    As always, love to point out the penultimate podcast of a series and we have reached it for Mr. Sunshine, covering episodes 21 and 22. A series that was an entire year in the making. Along with another short history lesson, Andrea rants about men being horrible husbands and no one paying attention to the travel time between two very different locations. And she attempts to make up for the lack of comic relief in the series with a couple of children's jokes.
