Just jumping with a little update on podcast dates - just realised I didn't sing "See You In September" and am so disappointed in myself - and a relevant news story given we have just finished talking about Mr. Sunshine. Enjoy the short bonus episode!

Do you get it? Do you get the title of episode? Skyfall lyrics, these come immediately after the first line "this is the end." Sure look it, some times things get stuck in my head and you just have to deal with it. But this is the end! We have made it to the last episode of Mr. Sunshine and it's a doozy. I cut out almost 18 minutes of me just quietly crying into the microphone. Four of them came during the Gwan-su scene. You'll know what scene I'm talking about when you get to it. But that's more crying than the actually time I spent talking about the scene!You're welcome, I guess. It is finally the actual penultimate episode! Notes for episode 24 are lengthy, so we're getting two podcasts this week. You'll also get a lot of crying. Sorry, not sorry.

As always, love to point out the penultimate podcast of a series and we have reached it for Mr. Sunshine, covering episodes 21 and 22. A series that was an entire year in the making. Along with another short history lesson, Andrea rants about men being horrible husbands and no one paying attention to the travel time between two very different locations. And she attempts to make up for the lack of comic relief in the series with a couple of children's jokes.

We are so close to the end of Mr. Sunshine. We're talking about episodes 19 and 20, so why not talk about "Mayo for Sam" and historical inaccuracies in Braveheart? It's a match made in long-winded heaven! It is also the official start of the Andrea Cry Count for Mr. Sunshine. How high can we get it before we wrap up Mr. Sunshine?

While covering episodes 17 and 18 of Mr. Sunshine, we also cover some James Bond, some 1950s children's songs, and why Andrea is making up her own timeline for this series. Andrea takes a bunch of trips down memory lane and occasionally remembers that she's supposed to be talking about Mr. Sunshine, episodes 15 and 16. We start with a pensive discussion about the location of a killer and we end with pensive staring at an eclipse. Both of those involve squinting. In between, there's kneeling, there's crying, there's punishment, there's serious discssions, and there's finally someone cleaning themselves up. But that's off screen. We don't actually see it. We just know because he's finally in clean clothes with no blood on his chest. It's about damn time!

And we are back to our regularly scheduled programing with episodes 13 and 14 of Mr. Sunshine. Not only are they action-packed, but someone other than Andrea actually swears! And we finally meet Jeon Insurance Kang! Well, just Jeon but the red string says I must add the Insurance Kang!

If you're hearing this, someone did not find her mic in time to record and edit for a Tuesday post. But instead of the usual "this week will be late and this one will disappear once it is up", I'm doing a quick episode with some corrections from last week and some rants about sport. And it's going to stay up even once the full episode is done!
