The Virginia Tech Rescue Squad

Ep. 2

Welcome back to In Good Company! In today’s episode, I had the chance to sit down with two incredible members of the Virginia Tech Rescue Squad, Connor and Ishaan, for a conversation about all things VTRS, their experiences at Virginia Tech, and the paths that led them to get involved with the squad.

Connor is a graduating senior majoring in biochemistry and currently serves as the Public Outreach Officer for the VTRS, where he helps connect the organization with the broader campus community. Ishaan is a junior studying nanomedicine and a general member of the Rescue Squad, bringing his own perspective on balancing academics, service, and student life. Together, they share insights into their college journeys, what it’s like to be part of VTRS, and the impact this work has had on their time at Virginia Tech.
