Ep 35 - I'm Not Grand Mam

The theme for this years #mentalhealthawarenessweek is kindness and though the lads are fairly good at being nice to others and being everyone’s biggest hype girlies, sometimes being kind to themselves doesn’t come as easy. To try and get better at this they call on the help of behavioural change specialist and full-time glam bitch Shahroo Izadi (IG: @shahroo_izadi) who is also the author of ‘The Kindness Method’, a book which details a new approach to driving positive change by being more sound to yourself. Also of course Kevin couldn’t let the episode go by without a mention of last weeks guest.

  • Ep 187 - Keep It Cool Girls

    49:55|
The lads are a little bit worse for wear as they had a big weekend in Killarney with their live show on the Friday and a friend’s hen on the Saturday which involved a lot of hijinks but was a lot of fun and made them come to the realisation that Killarney is actually a skit. The theme for the week is perception and Kevin talks about the pressure he's been experiencing since being referred to as 'cool' and although it's never something he saw for himself it actually makes a lot of sense but it's just taking a small bit of adjusting to. • Ep 186 - Soggy Biscuit with the Boys

    01:03:19|
The lads discuss the universal experience of setting foot into a Zara store and feeling immediately judged by the employees and the chaotic clothing sizes. Then, because every pride season there's always some deranged straight person harping on about there being no such thing as straight pride, the lads decide to delve deep into hetty lifestyle and culture and discuss what aspects of it they actually find appealing and might like to take part in because let's face it, darts and escape rooms do seem pretty fun. They also reach out to family and friends and ask them what they think the straightest thing about them is and Kevin's brother Shane really struggled to come up with an answer.Sign up to the I'm Grand Mam Patreon for more stunning content: https://www.patreon.com/imgrandmam ✨

They also discuss people in pop culture who are giving mother and sorry to Megan Trainor but you are not giving mother you're giving cousin.Sign up to the I'm Grand Mam Patreon for more stunning content: https://www.patreon.com/imgrandmam ✨
