When Something Awful poster Orenronen began translating the relatively obscure Japanese visual novel Danganronpa in 2011, it was considered too weird to get an official English localization. Over a decade later, Danganronpa is a multimillion-selling franchise and one of the most successful visual novel franchises in the west. It's one of the most impactful sagas to come out of Something Awful and also our first foray into the Let's Play subforum, so why not pay tribute to both by doing an exploration of the plot of Danganronpa in tandem? The children's horror game series Five Nights At Freddy's turns 10 years old this month, and what better way to celebrate than continuing this show's accidental running theme of game developers being shitty people?
