I Just Want to Play

Do you love pickleball just as much as Jackie? She's just your average 3.0 player thinking, dreaming, and wanting to be a better player who wants to play everyday. Her hopes and dreams are to play up and to learn from her mistakes. She's a dreamer and is addicted like the rest of you to this game called pickleball.

This fictional podcast is written and performed by Joyce Yoo Babbitt.

Joyce is passionate about pickleball and funny stories.  Although she is a competitive athlete and coach in swimming and volleyball, she quickly found how awesome pickleball was and switched to the sport.  She started playing pickleball in Maine with friends in 2020, then organized community weekly recreational play in 2021.  Joyce uses the Pursuit MX 6.0 paddle. She is now an Team Engage Ambassador and a certified IFP pickleball instructor in Woodstock, Vermont.
