Hello everyone, I'm doing that thing where a podcast takes a bye week (every week is a "bi week" in my apartment, heh heh... ha... ha) and just posts one of its Patreon episodes. Genuinely, I feel like an asshole for doing it, but I'm insanely behind on all the podcast stuff and then earlier today I fucked my throat up in the most embarrassing way possible, so I'm just going to take it easy and maybe learn to chew my food more thoroughly, a thing that typically only babies need to learn. Next week's episode WILL BE UP ON WEDNESDAY, and my guest is Janie Haddad Tompkins. After that it's writer Harry Waksberg, and then journalist Jeremy Appel, unless of course I somehow manage to get even more rice lodged in my esophagus, in which case I will end the podcast and go live in the woods, where I will eat nothing but a thin paste made from grinding up plant roots and mud.

He took the reaction to said monologue so poorly that he's still talking about it EVERY SINGLE WEEK, to this very day! However, this is him at his most freshly wounded, and thus he is truly unhinged in his response. That's right, this is the origin of "I should be a hero!" 01:17:56|I know that some of the more perverse listeners of the podcast prefer an episode that's like a rip roarin' 180 minutes long or whatever, but I have to admit that a one hour and fifteen minute episode about a fairly innocuous 60 minute television show was like, really good for me at this particular moment. The real downside is that internet sick-o Stefan Heck (streamer/podcaster) really deserved worse than this, but he also seemed authentically traumatized by having to watch Bella Thorne on Club Random a few months ago, so maybe that would've been too much, I don't know. He did have to sit through a lot of whining from Bill Maher, Joe Scarborough, and some freak from the AEI, but then he also got to enjoy watching a lone conservative truly get the absolute hell beaten out of him, to such a degree that I created a new award to give to him.
