Megan Gill says the ability to use less electricity at the right time could become increasingly valuable as Alberta adds massive, power-hungry AI data centres to its grid. As executive director of the Alberta Direct Connect Consumer Association, Gill represents some of the province’s largest industrial electricity users, including companies in forestry, pulp and paper, cement, manufacturing, and petrochemicals.
