In this special crossover episode between What in the Wide World of Cinema and Horror VS Reality, we discuss the beauty of Gus Van Sant's tragic art film and some aspects of The Columbine High shooting. The remaining aspects of the Columbine discussion coming in part 2. Largely Ana spends this time persuading Kendrah that this is indeed a good film.

Kendrah and Ana head to Austria this episode to talk about infamous serial Killer and world traveling journalist, Jack Unterweger. (He's a total prick. shocker. ) Plus, SPOILERS for Handmaid's Tale at the end of the episode, Ana's latest book reads, and Kendrah and Ana finally met in person.

On today's episode, Kendrah and Anastasia take on the infamous Men Behind the Sun and the horrific human experimentation that took place at Japan's Unit 731 during WW2.

This is the first episode of the new season format (so we can have much needed breaks between research and recording periods) It also marks the first episode with Kendrah as the permanent new co-host. To celebrate Kendrah's arrival, we decided to cover an infamous Canadian serial killer: Robert Pickton aka the Pig Farm Killer. We also watched the fairly terrible 2022 film, Pig Killer that is loosely based on his life. Enjoy!
