Billie, Lauren and Rosa take the positive(s?) from the Palace win, and make their transfer wish lists (in AND out) and COYS resolutions for the year ahead. Because it’s the last pod of the year, we take one last weepy look back at Bilbao, the parade, and all the love we can give this club when it just shows us it cares. And most importantly of all, we dish out our Best of 2025 culture picks.

It’s your mid-season Spurs Women deep dive: flowers for Martin, Toko, Olivia, Drew, Clare, Eveliina…you know what, flowers for EVERYONE. What a half season it’s been! Please don’t screw it up for them, The Lewis Family™️.

The office Powerleague team returns to get absolutely thumped by SEAN DYCHE’S Nottingham Forest. What is there even to say. Elsewhere, the women came agonisingly close to an incredible victory over Man Utd but were undone by, essentially, years of underinvestment. Crazy how bad decisions come back to bite you, isn’t it?

Tottenham followed up their best result at St James’ Park since the halcyon days of Steve Bruce with a very sensible 2 nil win over Brentford. Ash, Billie, Lauren and Rosa enjoy the break from Boogate, swoon over Xavi, and present the case for the prosecution AND defence of one Richarlison de Andrade.  Elsewhere, our beloved captain Beth England led the fightback against Villa, supported by the magic of Olivia Holdt. Also! Is cinema dead? For Billie’s sake, let’s hope not. 

Following a spirited but ultimately futile showing against PSG, our extremely unmighty lilywhites crashed and burned against the mighty Fulham. At home, of course. Lauren and Rosa discuss the big questions: what on earth is Frank doing and for the love of god, why? Do we hate the players more than they hate us? How much trouble is the club really in? And of course: to boo or not to boo? 

We count the ways in which the team violated Lauren’s Rule of Three for derbies:1) Don’t embarrass the shirt 2) Don’t embarrass the fans 3) Don’t embarrass yourselvesAnd we give our sincerest, most heartfelt thanks for Martin Ho and the players of Spurs Women, who understand professional pride. 

Your monthly Spurs Women deep dive is here, and in a truly serendipitous bit of timing, we’re bringing it to you right after a hard fought and well earned NLD draw. The perfect time for Lauren, Rosa and HG debutant Charlotte to assess the last few weeks: the highs, the lows, the fine-for-nows. The arc of the universe is long, but it bends towards Spurs Women being good, we’re pretty sure. 

After a careful review of the evidence (tactics, team selection, results) and the mitigating factors (criminal squad building, increasingly surreal injury crisis, personality mismatch with a passionate but quite mad fanbase) we give Thomas Frank his first grades of the season.
