The Winchester Mystery House in San Jose California attracts visitors from all around the world. But the 24,000 square foot mansion was not always open to visitors... in fact, very few people ever saw the inside of the home while Sarah Winchester was alive. As the house grew and grew, so did the curiosity of locals and the press. Why was the widow and heiress of the Winchester Rifle Company fortune endlessly adding on to the sprawling mansion... and why was the layout so peculiar? Doorways that lead to deathly drops, staircases that lead nowhere... were these logic defying and bizarre features meant to confuse the ghosts that followed Sarah to her new home? Or is there another explanation? Join us as we dive into the history and hauntings of the Winchester Mystery House.
