Burnley huffed, puffed and basically built a flat-pack siege, but Palace managed it calmly and pinched the decisive moment. Palace looked leggy from the start, and it showed. The intensity wasn’t there, the press was a step slow, and United took full advantage. Even then, we stayed in the game and made them work for it, but fatigue told in the key moments. A frustrating one, because it felt more about tired bodies than any real gulf in quality.

Crystal Palace were unlucky to lose 2-1 in Strasbourg, controlling long spells and creating the better chances. A late lapse cost them, but the performance showed quality, resilience and clear superiority despite the scoreline today.

Both goals came from precise movement and confident finishing, showcasing a team in full control of the tempo. The back line stayed organised throughout, shutting down danger early. A calm, clinical 2-0 victory that felt fully earned and quietly impressive.
