When Svengali producer Frank Farian revealed that Milli Vanilli was a fake it nearly broke apart the world of pop music. The reaction from the media and the public was outrage tinged with racism and homophobia and the easy target for all the hate was the two young men hired to be the faces of the Euro-pop dance duo. It has taken 40 years for the world to realize that Rob Pilatus and Fab Morvan weren't the only ones to blame. After only three hours of deliberations the jury at the Tupac Murder Trial returned with a verdict finding Duane "Keffe D" Davis guilty of first degree murder in connection with the 1996 drive-by shooting death of Tupac Shakur. Duane Davis’s defence attorney rested his case on Thursday after calling just three witness, all of them former Las Vegas police officers.Davis opted not to take the stand in his own defence. A very busy day in court on Tuesday at the Tupac Murder Trial. Six witnesses took the stand including a rapper who witnessed Tupac’s shooting and a former Compton police detective who gave the jury a 101 on street gangs. Plus, jurors saw evidence removed from the Las Vegas home of Duane "Keffe D Davis house when police executed a search warrant in the summer of 2023. At the Tupac Murder Trial on Monday jurors heard an audio recording that defendant Duane "Keefe D" made during an interview he did for a Death Row Records documentary. In it Davis is asked admits being in the car with the shooter who killed Tupac. He is asked if he would like to apologize to the Shakur family and he says no because he didn't do nothing.
