Today I started formatting my book of Quick Fiction. That’s right. That’s how I am going to define my reactive writing stories. I’ll be doing 1-3 of my stories per day into that process. People are imaginative about song lyrics and poetry and even short stories, I’m sure. Sometimes people project the wildest things onto other people’s writing. They reveal a great deal about their imaginations and themselves when they do that. The simplest, nicest, most innocuous songs can be heard by some people in the weirdest, and sometimes creepiest ways. It’s pretty gross. Here is all of today's content.I’m compiling all of my flash fiction stories into a book. While I’m doing that, I’ll podcast very short episodes of all of my song lyrics, one at a time. In the process, I’ll be experimenting with another subscription publishing format for formatting the book. The podcasts of the lyrics will be very short and will include the beginning meditation and the concluding send-offs. THE FINALE OF FLASH AUGUST FICTION. Hungry Henry and Rotund Ronald have become pals. Did you ever listen to The Cheeseguard from Flash Fiction February? These two had an impromptu meeting, and they remained cohorts. Today they are avoiding capture by a cat. This is one of several animal stories from this month. Stoicism is a mixed bag. DAY 29 OF FLASH AUGUST FICTION. Has to be about cats today. I have had vivid dreams the last couple of nights. The dream interpreters all say that if you dream of cats, it’s about your relationship with the feminine. I had a long dream of all these playful cats, and they were climbing on me everywhere I went and following me. Wow. I remember those days. I was a young guy once. Don’t worry. I may do that before this is over. After today, it’s only four left, so I’d better pull the trigger if it’s going to happen.I’m going to write something about a swimming pool today. DAY 25 OF FLASH AUGUST FICTION. Want to get a better handle on what I am doing this month? Here is a description and some ideas about Flash Fiction. Here is Flash Fiction February. Today I contemplated about baseball, and jogged my memory quite a bit about hitting. I could get my bat on some real cheese. I got looks and everything in the system. There are some things relating to those reflexes and the subconscious mind. Sometimes our conscious minds have to catch up to our physical reflexes. I feel like reflexes and our subconscious minds have some interesting commonalities. What I think I’m going to do is have good ‘ol Antler Pestle have a conversation with an old baseball buddy. It’s one of those things where if you know, you know, and if you don’t, you don’t. 4% of the human population have the reflexes to be able to do that. That’s why “It takes ten years to learn how to swing, and ten pitches to find out if you’re a hitter.” It’s weird like that.
