Why Think Twice About the Francis Scott Key Bridge Collapse? | Steve Bradbury

In the early morning of Tuesday, March 26, the Francis Scott Key Bridge on the Patapsco River in Baltimore, MD collapsed following an impact from a container ship. As of this writing, several individuals are missing and may be deceased. The tragic accident will also result in major logistical and economic disruptions. But there’s more reason to be concerned about critical infrastructure failures of this kind. Is our government really keeping its priorities in order to prevent such disasters? Heritage Distinguished Fellow Steve Bradbury, a veteran of the Department of Transportation, explains.

    13:57
One of these debates that resurfaces with every cycle is that of net neutrality. The company you pay to provide you with internet shouldn’t restrict your access to websites based on their political alignment, for example. This is a principle on which most people agree, but the policies around it can be much more contentious. So what is going on with net neutrality now? And why does it matter? I sat down with Annie Chestnut Tutor, Policy Analyst in the Tech Policy Center here at the Heritage Foundation, to find out. — Have thoughts?
