105. How life coaching helped me rebuild my life after heartbreak
42:11||Ep. 105How life coaching helped me rebuild my life after heartbreakIn 2018, my nine-year relationship ended just weeks before our wedding.I then found out my ex had been having an affair.I lost the future I had planned, my family unit, my income and the career I had built around him. I experienced a breakdown and was left with around £15,000 of debt. From the outside, I looked as though I was coping.I went out, drank, trained for half marathons and dated younger, unsuitable and emotionally unavailable men. Sometimes all three in one convenient package. But looking as though you are coping is not the same as healing. My life looked fine from the outside, but my self-worth was on the floor. Then I made the decision to work with a life coach for six months. My coach didn’t rescue me or tell me what to do. She helped me stop waiting for somebody else to rescue me.Today, my life looks completely different. In this episode, I explain how coaching helped me challenge the beliefs I had mistaken for facts, change my relationship patterns and create a new vision for my future.I also answer the question: What does a life coach actually do?IN THIS EPISODE:• Why looking as though you are coping doesn’t mean you have healed• What life coaching is and how it differs from therapy• How your experiences can shape your beliefs and relationship choices• Why I kept looking to unsuitable men for validation• The role values, boundaries and identity played in rebuilding my life• Why being chosen isn’t the goal, but being treated well is• How coaching helped me turn a vision into actionQUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF:• Where in your life are you pretending to be fine?• What are you using to distract yourself from how you really feel?• What happened to you, and what have you decided it means about you?• How is that belief affecting the relationships you accept now?• What do you want your life to feel like three years from now?• Who do you need to become to create that life?WAYS TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP WITH RACHEL💕 JOIN MY FREE FACEBOOK GROUPJoin Life After Divorce: Heal, Rebuild & Become You, my free community for midlife women healing after heartbreak or divorce.Connect with women who understand, share what you are going through and receive support to help you feel like yourself again.💕 TAKE THE LOVE-BLOCKING ARCHETYPE QUIZTake my “Why Am I Still Single?” quiz to find out your Love-Blocking Archetype and understand what may be happening underneath your relationship patterns.✨ BOOK AN EMPOWERMENT SESSIONIf heartbreak has left you questioning who you are, what you want or what comes next, you do not have to work through it alone.During an Empowerment Session, we’ll look at where you are now, what may be keeping you stuck and what could help you move forward.Whether you want to heal after heartbreak, rebuild your confidence, find yourself again or create healthier love, this is a place to start.CONNECT WITH RACHELInstagramWebsiteIf this episode reminds you of another woman who needs to hear it, please share it with her. This episode shares general education and personal experiences. 34:43||Ep. 104Have you reached midlife and suddenly found that you no longer feel like yourself?Perhaps your energy has disappeared, your confidence has taken a knock, your body feels different or the healthy habits that worked in your 20s and 30s are no longer giving you the same results. In this episode of Healing With Teeling, I’m joined by Kelly Phillips, founder of Strong Womenopause™ and Executive Menopause Coach.Kelly shares how anxiety, joint pain and sciatica affected her health and legal career. After finding that strength training helped her symptoms, she retrained as a personal trainer before specialising in perimenopause and menopause. We discuss:• Why menopause can make you feel as though you have lost yourself• How brain fog, low energy and physical changes affect confidence• Why busy women often push through their symptoms• How your nutrition and exercise needs change during midlife• Why protein and strength training matter• Why carbohydrates and healthy fats still have a place in your diet• The truth about potatoes, because naturally I needed to ask• Why sleep and recovery are so important• How menopause can affect relationships and stress levels• How partners, families and workplaces can offer supportKelly also shares three simple places to start:Include protein with each meal.Add regular strength-based exercise that works for you.Create a consistent sleep and recovery routine. The main message from this conversation is that you do not have to struggle in silence or simply put up with your symptoms. 103. The Overachiever Archetype
26:00||Ep. 103You’re successful, independent and capable. You’ve built a life you’re proud of and you’re used to getting things done.So why can love still feel so difficult? In this episode of Healing With Teeling, I’m breaking down the final Love-Blocking Archetype in this series: The Overachiever. The Overachiever is often the woman everyone else thinks has it all together. She’s ambitious, reliable and strong. She knows how to achieve, solve problems and take care of herself. But underneath that independence can be a subconscious belief that love, approval and worth have to be earned. And when you bring that belief into relationships, you can find yourself over-giving, over-functioning, trying to control the outcome or working far too hard to make a relationship work.In this episode, I cover:• The common signs of the Overachiever Archetype• Why achievement can become connected to your sense of worth• Childhood experiences that can create these subconscious patterns• Why asking for help, resting and receiving can feel uncomfortable• How being fiercely independent can affect intimacy and vulnerability• Why you may find yourself attracted to emotionally unavailable relationships• The difference between healthy independence and keeping people at a distance• How to stop trying to earn love through what you do for other people• Three practical ways to start changing the Overachiever pattern• How to separate who you are from what you achieveYou don’t need to become less ambitious, stop being successful or make yourself smaller to find healthy love. The work is learning that your achievements are not evidence of your worth. You are worthy of love when you’re achieving, and you’re worthy of love when you’re doing absolutely nothing. When you stop trying to prove yourself, you can start choosing yourself. And that changes the relationships you choose too.WAYS TO WORK WITH ME✨ One-to-One CoachingPrivate coaching for successful midlife women who are ready to heal after heartbreak or divorce, break unhealthy relationship patterns and create secure, lasting love.Using my five-step BeYou Method, we work on your subconscious beliefs, emotional healing, self-worth, boundaries and relationship choices. This is for the woman who is ready to stop repeating the same patterns, find herself again and build a life and relationship she truly loves.A limited number of private coaching spaces are available.💕 The BeYou Blueprint CourseA step-by-step course to help you understand your relationship patterns, rebuild your self-worth and become ready for healthy love. You’ll learn why you keep attracting the same relationship dynamics and how to start making choices from confidence and self-trust rather than fear.FREE RESOURCES💡 Take the Love Blocking Archetype QuizFind out whether you are the Overachiever, Lone Wolf, Love Addict, Ice Queen or Fixer.Your result will help you understand the hidden pattern that may be keeping you stuck in unhealthy relationships or stopping you from creating the love you want.💗 Book an Empowerment SessionIf you’re ready to heal your relationship patterns and find yourself again, book an Empowerment Session. We’ll look at where you are now, what keeps repeating and the support you need to move towards the life and relationship you truly want.ARE WE CONNECTED ON SOCIALS?Connect with me on InstagramVisit my website
102. Why You Keep People at Arm’s Length
23:13||Ep. 102If you’re fiercely independent, struggle to let people get too close or find yourself losing interest when someone becomes emotionally available, you might recognise yourself in the Ice Queen archetype. But the Ice Queen isn’t cold.Often, she feels deeply. She has simply learned that keeping people at a distance feels safer than risking being hurt again. In this episode of Healing With Teeling, I’m breaking down the Ice Queen, one of the five Love Blocking Archetypes from my Why Am I Still Single? quiz. We’ll explore:Who the Ice Queen is and how she shows up in relationshipsWhy independence can become emotional armourWhy you might pull away when someone gets closeHow heartbreak, betrayal or emotionally unavailable relationships can create this patternThe subconscious beliefs driving your behaviourWhy emotionally unavailable people can sometimes feel more attractive than secure onesWhy healthy love can initially feel unfamiliar or even boringHow to practise vulnerability without losing yourselfHow to start breaking these repeating relationship patternsYour conscious mind might want connection while your subconscious mind wants protection. So while you’re saying, “I want a healthy relationship,” another part of you might be saying:“Love leads to pain.”“People leave.”“I can only rely on myself.”“If I let someone in, I’ll get hurt.”Healing the Ice Queen isn’t about becoming less independent. It’s about learning that you can have boundaries without building walls, allow someone to love you without losing yourself and trust yourself enough to know you won’t abandon yourself again.WAYS TO WORK WITH ME✨ One-to-One CoachingPrivate coaching for successful midlife women ready to heal after heartbreak or divorce, break unhealthy relationship patterns and create secure, lasting love using my five-step BeYou Method.💕 The BeYou Blueprint CourseA step-by-step course to understand your relationship patterns, rebuild your self-worth and start making relationship choices from confidence and self-trust rather than fear.FREE RESOURCES💡 Take the Love Blocking Archetype QuizAre you the Overachiever, Lone Wolf, Love Addict, Ice Queen or Fixer? 101. The Fixer
26:57||Ep. 101Why You Keep Falling in Love With Potential: The Fixer ArchetypeAre you always the one supporting, encouraging and trying to help your partner become the person you know they could be?You may be the Fixer. The Fixer is caring, loyal and highly empathetic. She sees the best in people, but this can lead her to fall in love with someone’s potential rather than who they are today. She becomes their therapist, coach, cheerleader and emotional support system. She gives more, accepts less and hopes her love will eventually inspire them to change. In this episode, I explore:• Who the Fixer is and how this archetype behaves• Why being needed can feel like being loved• How childhood experiences and past relationships can create this pattern• The subconscious beliefs driving overgiving and rescuing• Why emotionally available partners can initially feel unfamiliar• How to stop taking responsibility for another adult• How to choose real, reciprocal love instead of potentialYou’ll also hear practical questions to help you recognise when you are fixing, step back from responsibility that is not yours and bring your attention back to your own needs. You do not need to fix somebody into loving you. Healthy love does not require you to earn your place by becoming indispensable.BEYOU BLUEPRINT BETA TESTERS WANTEDI’m looking for five successful women to become beta testers for my signature programme before I officially relaunch it in September. If you’ve experienced a breakup, divorce or painful relationship and you’re ready to stop repeating the same patterns, this is for you.The six-week BeYou Blueprint will help you work through:♡ Your relationship patterns♡ Limiting beliefs♡ Boundaries♡ Self-worth♡ Needs and values♡ Your vision for the futureYou’ll receive:• Lifetime access to the course• Three private 30-minute coaching calls with me• A one-week implementation break• Practical exercises to create lasting changeYou’ll need to commit 60 to 90 minutes each week, complete the programme and provide honest feedback before the September relaunch. The supported beta investment is £555 instead of the full price of £999.DM me on Instagram: with the word BETA and I’ll share the full details.WAYS TO WORK WITH ME✨ One-to-One CoachingPrivate coaching for successful midlife women who are ready to heal after heartbreak or divorce, break unhealthy relationship patterns and create secure, lasting love.Using my five-step BeYou Method, we work on your subconscious beliefs, emotional healing, self-worth, boundaries and relationship choices. We’ll look at where you are now, what keeps repeating and the support you need to move towards the life and relationship you truly want.ARE WE CONNECTED ON SOCIALS?Connect with me on Instagram:Visit my website:
100. The Lone Wolf
16:22||Ep. 100The Lone Wolf: When independence becomes a barrier to loveAre you the woman everyone relies on, but you struggle to let anyone support you?In this episode of Healing With Teeling, I break down the Lone Wolf, the second-highest result from women who take my Love Archetype Quiz. The Lone Wolf does not necessarily want to be alone. She wants love, but somewhere along the way she learned that relying on other people can lead to disappointment. Her independence became her protection. This can show up as choosing emotionally unavailable men, considering long-distance relationships or pulling away when somebody kind and consistent enters your life. Calm feels unfamiliar, while uncertainty feels like attraction. In this episode, you’ll learn:• How the Lone Wolf behaves in dating and relationships• Why emotionally unavailable relationships can feel safer• Where hyper-independence may come from• The subconscious beliefs keeping this pattern in place• How to accept support without losing your independence• What to do when you want to pull away from a safe personHealing the Lone Wolf is not about becoming less capable. It is about learning that you can have boundaries and closeness, freedom and commitment, and still receive love.WAYS TO WORK WITH ME✨ One-to-One CoachingPrivate coaching for successful midlife women ready to heal after heartbreak or divorce, break unhealthy relationship patterns and create secure, lasting love.Using my five-step BeYou Method, we work on your subconscious beliefs, emotional healing, self-worth, boundaries and relationship choices.A limited number of private coaching spaces are available.💕 Join The BeYou Blueprint CourseA step-by-step course to help you understand your relationship patterns, rebuild your self-worth and become ready for healthy love.Learn why you keep attracting the same relationship dynamics and how to make choices from confidence and self-trust rather than fear.FREE RESOURCES💡 Take the Love Archetype QuizFind out whether you are the Overachiever, Lone Wolf, Love Addict, Ice Queen or Fixer, and understand the hidden pattern that may be keeping you stuck.💗 Book an Empowerment SessionIf you’re ready to heal your relationship patterns and find yourself again, book an Empowerment Session. We’ll look at where you are now, what keeps repeating and the support you need to move towards the life and relationship you truly want.ARE WE CONNECTED ON SOCIALS?InstagramFacebookWebsiteIf this episode supported you, please follow, rate and review Healing With Teeling.Share the episode to your stories and tag me so I can see you tuning in.
