This week I sat down with Christine from the charity SOSAD. Some of the topics we talked about is very close to my heart and I wanted to help the charity with this platform and also might help someone listening aswell. Since 2007, SOSAD has worked to raise awareness and help prevent suicide in Ireland. We have worked tirelessly in our communities to help those in need feel supported and know they are not alone on their journey. SOSAD offer support and services for people who are struggling with suicidal ideation, self harming, depression, bereavement, stress and anxiety, or if you simply need to talk. I hope you enjoy it :)

In January 2025, Joanna was appointed to Sinn Féin's front bench as spokesperson on Arts, Sport, Communications, Culture, and Media. She is also the chairperson of Drogheda United F.C. and was elected to the FAI's National League Committee in 2023, becoming the first female chairperson in the League of Ireland.Joanna was a pleasure to chat with and we talked about a range of different things going on in the world and the world of politics at the moment.
