20 Jojo Draven - Guitarist and Film Composer (Blue Man Group) Patient Seven)
JoJo Draven is an accomplished film and television composer. Her original film scores can be seen on cable and network television channels such as Showtime, HBO, NBC/Universal Chiller TV, The Movie Channel, Direct TV and streaming services such as Amazon Prime and On Demand, VUDU, iTunes, HULU Plus and Netflix.
On stage, she's a proficient guitarist who's actively performing in the local Las Vegas music circuit. Born on the island of Java, she was classically trained on piano. Inspired by KISS and Iron Maiden, she took up the guitar, formed her own all-female rock band and earned two major recording contracts while still in high school. She obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance and Composition in Los Angeles; she became the guitarist for Shrapnel/Geffen Records all-female band Phantom Blue and co-founded the all-female tribute band The Iron Maidens at the beginning of the trend of female tribute bands. She was awarded the Best Female Guitarist title three times in Los Angeles. She's been featured in Cosmopolitan Magazine as a Fun Fearless Female and appeared in publications such as Guitar World, Metal Edge and MTV Coffee table Book.
Draven joined the cast of Blue Man Group Las Vegas in 2011. She's the only female guitarist in the company's history. In 2015, she was recruited by illusionist Criss Angel himself to tour with his creation Criss Angel Presents THE SUPERNATURALISTS as the Lead Resident Music Artist / Guitarist. She was recruited by one of Justin Timberlake's studio producers to perform at the 2016 Grammy Party. She lives in the Las Vegas area where she continues to work in the studio as a film composer and perform live in the local circuit. She's slated to score 3 more family feature films, a horror feature and two documentaries in 2019.
